Restorative Yoga

Learn to unwind your body and uplift your spirit with the help of props to relax completely. Restorative yoga is a practice that reduces your stress and improves your health. All postures (asanas) are done in a passive manner with the support of blankets, bolsters, and other props, which will allow you to be supported and relaxed in each pose. You’ll leave this class feeling relaxed, refreshed and recharged. (Cool)

Gentle Flow

A gentle practice is a step up from a Restorative practice, which will allow students to focus on breathe, as well as learn postures and alignment. It is great for working on flexibility. Gentle yoga is less intense, slower paced and relaxing making it perfect if you are just starting, getting back into a yoga practice or just needing to unwind from your day. (Cool)

Chair Yoga

This gentle class is for anyone interested in the health benefits of yoga without having to be on the floor.  Students perform postures (asanas) with the aid of a chair.  Students of any age, level of health/fitness, and those with limited mobility, joint issues or recovering from injury can experience the many benefits of yoga without having the concern of getting up or down from the floor.  Benefits include increased balance, strength, flexibility, range of motion, concentration/focus and stress reduction.  Chairs and props are provided to keep everyone safe and supported.

*Chair yoga is approved by the Arthritis Foundation to ease the aches and pains of arthritis sufferers.
